Most likely you used Stubborn Solidity in that land this turn, which says: "Dahan in target land cannot be changed. (When they would be Damaged, Destroyed, Removed, Replaced, or moved, instead don’t.)" Moving includes Pushing or Gathering, so the Dahan stay put!
